Education
Revere Schools
Revere Schools serve a population of about 15,000 people. Most
are residents of Richfield or Bath. Student enrollment is just over 2,800 with
four buildings accommodating students as follows:
- Hillcrest Primary (K-3)
- Bath Elementary (4-5)
- Revere Middle School (6-8)
- Revere High (9-12)
All of the schools have been awarded national recognition from
the U. S. Office of Education's "Search for Excellence." Many families choose
to settle in this area because of the district's academic reputation.
Residential property values are maintained by the high demand for quality
family housing.
Enrolling about 900 students, Revere High School offers 130
courses, including advanced placement and honors. Students may follow a basic,
comprehensive college or accelerated track. Four foreign languages may be taken
for five years.
Student participation is encouraged throughout the district in a
range of activities including athletics, debate, Odyssey of the Mind and
Academic Decathlon. Students have enjoyed success in competition at the state
and national levels in art, math, science, and social studies.
Extra curricular activities include the sports of:
- football
- basketball
- baseball
- softball
- tennis
- golf
- volleyball
- soccer
