Community Life
Organizations and
Churches
Community
organizations, churches and
sports leagues are active in the community
with each adding to the pride and flavor of a 'hometown.' Meeting regularly,
these organizations plan events and provide services for Richfield residents.
The Kiwanis Club sponsors the Annual Richfield Community Day,
the very popular high school Homecoming Spaghetti Dinner and a Pancake Brunch.
The Richfield Fire Department cooks up the annual Steak Fry
during the Community Weekend. Over 150 families participate in the yearly
Richfield Civic Organization's community-wide Garage Sale.
A 5, 25, 50 and 100-mile "Sweet Corn" Bike Ride sponsored by the
Richfield Chamber of Commerce is the premier one-day bike ride in an
eight-state area.
The Chamber's golf outing/clambake each fall combines recreation
and good food to benefit a scholarship program for area students.
