Richfield Community Life
In the town of Richfield, life does revolve around the community. With big yards, many parks and quiet residential streets, residents can easily rejuvenate from the bustle of their career life. Neighbors are neighbors. Family life is the focus. Churches, organizations and neighborhoods enhance community pride through events and activities. Community Weekend is the highlight of the year with the purest of entertainment for three days. It's no wonder that many families choose this environment for their own.

Community Life Library
In 2001 the Richfield Branch of Summit County Libraries moved into a new home, located in the center of town. Its architecture and decor create a theme that ties in with the wildlife that might visit the lake, just a short distance from the building.
The 12,000 square foot facility houses approximately 39,000 books, 116 periodicals, 22 computers with research databases and free internet access and many audio and video media.
Materials can be ordered by phone or internet from the county library system and picked up close to home at the Richfield branch.

Community Life Cultural & Entertainment Centers
Summer theater performs at the Western Reserve Playhouse. The playhouse, appropriately housed in an historic barn near Revere High School, produces three plays or musicals each summer. The Playhouse also offers a theater workshop for children. This workshop ends its session with a play in August. Antique shops abound in Richfield and the neighboring communities, making the area an antique hunter's delight. Because of Richfield's central location, other cultural and entertainment events are within a 45 minute drive. Most notably and especially nearby is the Blossom Music Center, the summer home for the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra serenely situated in a grove of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
